CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IN THE HEART OF CHARLESTON

Welcome to St. Philip's Academy

Enrolling K5-6th grade for 2027-2028 as the next chapter of our K5–12th grade vision

Why St. Philip's Academy?

At St. Philip's Academy, education is more than academics, it is the shaping of the whole child. Rooted in the Classical tradition and nurtured by a Christian worldview, we seek to awaken wonder, inspire a lifelong pursuit of truth, and prepare students to live with excellence, purpose, and joy.

Classical Education

St. Philip’s Academy is devoted to shaping both hearts and minds in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. Through a rich classical curriculum, children grow in wisdom, virtue, and faith, and are taught not simply what to think, but how to think.

Christian Formation

Faith isn't an add-on. A Christian worldview is woven throughout the life and learning of our school.

Small by Design

With classes intentionally limited to 16 students per grade, teachers and staff know their students and can give them the individual attention they deserve.

 Thoughtfully Priced

St. Philip’s Academy is committed to making tuition attainable for families who value rigorous academics, Christian formation, and the timeless tradition of classical education. 2026–2027 Tuition: $13,900

Experience Learning in the Heart of Charleston

Our campus at 51 State Street places students in the center of one of America's most historic cities.

Students worship in our chapel, study the art and architecture around them, and experience the history and culture of downtown Charleston as part of their everyday lives.

A School That Grows with Your Child

St. Philip’s Academy is growing with purpose. As our school expands, we add a new grade each year, allowing students to grow within the same close-knit community from their earliest years through high school. That continuity creates a strong sense of belonging, and gives students the confidence to grow, take on new challenges, and thrive.

In our inaugural academic year 2026–2027, St. Philip’s Academy will serve students in K5 through 5th grade. By adding one grade each year, we will reach 12th grade in 2033–2034, with our first high school senior graduating class in 2034.
